The Crestasee is a small lake shared by the municipalities of Flims and Trin in the Grisons, Switzerland.

The Schöllenen Gorge is a gorge formed by the upper Reuss in the Swiss canton of Uri between the towns of Göschenen to the north and Andermatt to the south. It provides access to the St Gotthard Pass. Enclosed by sheer granite walls, its road and railway require several spectacular bridges and tunnels, of which the most famous is a stone bridge known as the Teufelsbrücke ("Devil's Bridge").

The Aletsch Glacier is the largest glacier in the Alps. It has a length of about 23 km.

Old Gotthard Pass

The Lake Grimsel is an artificial lake near the Grimsel Pass in the Canton of Berne, Switzerland. The lake has a volume of 95 mio m³. Its dam was completed in 1932 and is operated by Kraftwerke Oberhasli AG (KWO).

The Fort Sasso da Pigna at 2,400 metres on the Gotthard Pass was built during the early part of World War II, becoming operational in 1943. The fort consists of an eastern battery overlooking the Leventina valley and a western battery overlooking the Bedretto valley and the main pass.
